This week's joys ⛽

This time of year is for sure nature’s signal to slow down, to rest, and nourish ourselves. And it’s also a time of travel, celebration, and getting together with loved ones. So, make sure you have some extra fuel in your tank by making time for quiet, for solitude, for whatever fills you up and allows you to feel supported.

This week’s joys:

I’ve been writing poetry lately. It just sort of happened- poetic words and phrases come to me, seemingly out of nowhere. Being in nature would stir something in me. I think my intentional slowing down- spending my mornings and evenings outdoors, reading more instead of switching on the TV, and simply creating space for quiet has allowed creativity to flow. And so, I’ve started sharing some of it on Substack. If you’re interested in reading it, you can do so here.

Patrick’s mom and stepdad visited last weekend, along with their three miniature dachshunds. It was a weekend full of good food, lots of laughter, and tons of pup snuggles.

I dropped off over 160 lbs of food to Catonsville Emergency Assistance on Thursday morning. All thanks to you- my incredibly generous clients. I’ll be gathering food donations through the end of the year, so if you’d like to donate, please bring some items with you to your next appointment.

Some upcoming offerings, in case you could use a little support in supporting yourself!
