This week's joys 🎂

The promise of warmer weather this weekend has me feeling a little lighter in that we'll be freed from this icebox we’ve been living in for the past few weeks. Snow, you were beautiful but enough already. Be gone!

Here are the joys that have kept me sane, embodied, and grateful this week:

Watching Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl halftime performance. It was such an expression of joy fully embodied, love of all kinds, pride in what makes each of us unique, and the power of community. It felt like a prayer for the manifestation of all these things on a larger scale. The entire performance was fun and beautifully done. No notes.

Two downy woodpeckers have discovered one of our bird feeders. I had never seen one in person before but now the pair are regulars. I like to think that they’re a couple. Either way, they’re adorable to watch.

I took the day off to celebrate my birthday on Tuesday with a much needed massage followed by a relaxing facial. That evening, Patrick surprised me with flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, and a cute mini cheesecake (that we both devoured after dinner). I received so many beautiful birthday messages from the people in my life- I'm feeling very loved.

Wishing you a beautiful and (slightly) warmer weekend!

Courtney

Yoga means union — a remembering of our connection to ourselves, to one another, and to something greater. This community class is a space to come home to that sense of connection. Each class will begin with pranayama (breathwork). You’ll then be guided through various asanas (postures), exploring them through longer holds as well as through fluid, mindful movement. We’ll close our practice with savasana (final resting pose) and a short meditation. Props and variations will be offered for all levels of experience. My intention is to offer practices that can be accessible to all, regardless of finances, so this class is offered as pay what you can.
