This week's joys 🍂

Hey there, friend.

One of my great joys this week is to share that I'll be teaching an in-person Community Yoga class at Inner Nature in Finksburg! This class will be offered on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:15-7:45pm. The first class will be held this Wednesday, October 1st.

Yoga means "union"- a remembering of our connection to ourselves, to one another, and to something greater. This community class is a space to come home to that sense of connection- through the breath, through the body, and through shared presence.

I'm offering this class as "pay what you can" which means if you're in a place to give (suggested $20), your contribution helps to support others. If it's not in your finances to give, please come take this class for free.

Each class will begin with pranayama (breathwork) followed by various asanas (postures) that we'll explore through longer holds as well as through fluid, mindful movement. We'll close out our practice with savasana (final resting pose) and a guided meditation.

I'll offer props and variations for all levels so whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for some time, this class is for you!

Class is limited to 14 students so if you'd like to save your spot or learn more, you can do so here.

The rest of this week's joys:

I've accepted that my favorite season has come to a close (no really, I have) and am embracing autumn by adding some vibrant mums to our backyard. The bright yellow, warm orange, and deep burgundy blossoms are fitting in nicely.

Planning out my first Community Yoga class at Inner Nature has been such a joy. And it only felt right to make joy the heart of the class. I'll be closing out the practice with a variation of the Meditation on Joy I created for my eMbodied Membership.

The hummingbird ring I ordered from Etsy arrived this week. My hummingbird friends have moved on to warmer climates (I'll admit, I'm pretty envious) so I no longer have my delightful daily reminder to look for the good, beauty, and joy in the everydayness of life. Until they return, this ring will serve as my reminder of their medicine.

I hope you're finding ways to recognize, hold, and feel the joy in each day, even amid (and especially because of) the daily "too much-ness."

Sending you so much love,

Courtney
