Year end joys πŸͺ🎁🌲

In this time of year where no one is 100% certain what day it is, I forgot to send out last week's joys. But- I didn't forget to make note of them (pats self on back). So here I share with you my year end joys...

(if you're new around here, this is the email that began this little weekly ritual of mine)

Christmas cookie baking day with my mom, sisters, nieces... the entire crew. We each bring the ingredients to make our fave holiday cookie or treat. I came home with way too many cookies (I know, is there really such a thing?). I hid them in the cabinet instead of sitting them out on the counter- you know, out of sight out of mind. It's only kinda working.

I received some sweet holiday gifts from clients last week, including this beautiful nutcracker yogi in lotus pose!

Christmas day spent at my mom's house, exchanging gifts, playing lots of games, and enjoying each other's company.

Several morning hikes with Patrick over the holiday week. Some were a bit icy but it felt really good to get out into the woods. It's one of my favorite things.

Spent the day after Christmas with my friend Kristen (she's in town for the holidays) and her family. We perused the eclectic shops at Savage Mill and had dinner at Great Sage.

Dinner and movie date with Patrick on Saturday. We saw the new Avatar film. Usually one (or both) of us have to get up to use the restroom during an almost 3 hour movie but neither of us moved. We were captivated.

After a busy holiday, I enjoyed a slow, restful Sunday- read a little while enjoying my coffee, went on a morning hike, finished season 2 of Shrinking (love that show!), wrote the intro to my new poem on Substack, and simply puttered around the house a bit.

I wanna close (both this email and the year) by saying that I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to work with you, to get to know you, as well as to share some of my inner workings with you. To have a beautiful community of clients I support and who support me right back is an extraordinary thing. It's something I'm grateful for daily and do not take for granted. It is truly one of my greatest joys.

P.S. The new year is a potent time to not only set intentions but also reflect on the past year- what went well, how you have grown, what you have learned, etc. And- it's amplified by the full moon this Saturday, as full moons are an invitation to reflect and go deep.

Inside my eMbodied Membership, you'll find a Full Moon Reflection practice where you'll be guided through a meditation, reflection, and journaling prompts to create space for what's meant to bloom in the next cycle.

You'll also find many other practices (such as yoga, meditation, and breathwork) to help you slow down and ground. And each practice is only 30 mins or less in length!

I’m offering you your first month inside eMbodied Membership for free ($37/mo after that, cancel anytime). Just use code FREEMONTH at checkout. Visit the link below to learn more and try out your free month.
