This week's joys🧘♂️
October has arrived and with it an invitation to release a looong, slow exhale. It brings an opportunity to pause. To rest. To remember the simple pleasures that bring you back to your center. Back to yourself. Lately, I’ve been puttering around a bit- cleaning and clearing space, gathering items of the season to invite autumn’s cozy energy into my home and yard (pumpkins, gourds, and mums abound!). Setting the foundation to hold and settle into this slower, darker, more inwardly focused time of year. This week's joys: I offered my first community yoga class on Wednesday evening. It felt so good to practice again in community, sharing yoga with both some familiar faces and new. Watching the dragonflies dart around the backyard as the sun was setting. Discovering the mushroom village that has sprung up at the edge of our yard. I’ve always been fascinated with mushrooms- their ability to emerge from darkness and decay to provide life-giving food and medicine. I invite you to find ways this month to soften and go inward. To breathe. To tend to you.
